It's that time again! The Long Night of Museums Munich is just around the corner - and this year it will be particularly magical. On October 19, 2024, Magic Bavaria, Munich's first interactive adventure museum, invites you to an unforgettable night full of art, music and illusions. From 6 p.m. to 1 a.m., night owls can explore the museum to extraordinary music, experience live art and dance the night away.

Art and beats: the best of Bavaria at Magic Bavaria

As part of the Long Night of Museums Munich, the Magic Bavaria is transformed into a magical world that invites you to marvel. Over 30 interactive installations and fantastic photo spots are waiting to be discovered. But that's not all! This night will be special because it brings together two outstanding artists: alpine pop artist Bernhard Rieger and alphorn techno musician Loisach Marci. Together they show how surprisingly harmonious Bavarian tradition and modernity can work together.

Just imagine: Bavarian sounds meet electronic beats, alphorn merges with techno sounds - that's Loisach Marci! With his unique mix of 14 different instruments and electronic music, he transforms Magic Bavaria into a soundscape that gets under your skin. His music bridges the gap between tradition and modernity and provides real goosebump moments at the Long Night of Museums Munich.

Live art: Bavaria's beauty in vibrant colors

While Loisach Marci fills the rooms with his sounds, Bernhard Rieger conjures up a new work of art live in front of the visitors. Rieger, one of the last artists of Lüftlmalerei, combines garish colors and exaggerated motifs in his unmistakable AlpinPopArt style. His works capture the breathtaking beauty of the Bavarian Alps and give them a modern, sometimes even mystical touch. His pop landscape paintings, such as the impressive backdrop “Almrausch”, which can already be found in the museum, reflect his deep connection with the mountains.

The magic of the Alps - a feast for all senses

When art meets beats, the result is a feast for all the senses! The combination of the driving techno beats of Loisach Marci and the vibrant colors of Bernhard Rieger make this evening an experience that will last for a long time. The Long Night of Museums Munich at Magic Bavaria is the perfect setting to discover art and music in a completely new way. Let yourself be carried away by the creative energy and immerse yourself in a magical world that shows Bavaria from a modern and at the same time traditional side. Of course, there will still be enough time to discover the fantastic backdrops of the adventure museum and take pictures that will remind you of this special evening for a long time to come.

Are you an art lover, music fan or simply curious about Bavarian culture? Then mark October 19, 2024 in red in your calendar! The Long Night of Museums Munich at Magic Bavaria offers you the opportunity to experience art and music in a new and exciting way. We look forward to seeing you!
