Are you wondering: What can you do in Munich during the Long Night of Museums? Where are there creative photo spots that not everyone knows about? What exactly is an upside-down museum—and why is a castle in Munich upside down?

Then we have good news: At Magic Bavaria, the first upside-down adventure museum in Munich, a very special nighttime program awaits you on Saturday, October 18, 2025 – as part of the Lange Nacht der Münchner Museen! ("Long Night of Museums”).

Photo spots, illusions and Insta motifs: An evening at Magic Bavaria

From 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., you can immerse yourself in over 30 interactive photo installations that are anything but ordinary. Whether you lose yourself in an infinity ice crystal mirror room, dance on the ceiling in the upside-down disco, or seemingly balance across Marienplatz – our spaces are made for selfies, reels, and truly awe-inspiring moments.

You can also:

  • Bring the graffiti artwork “ Monaco POP ” to life via smartphone

  • Posing with friends in Bavarian settings such as the upside-down King's Hall on the ceiling

  • Amaze your friends with crazy photos!

Live show: The Dancing Münchner Kindl

A special highlight awaits you: a live performance by the Dancing Munich Children. This young ensemble brings Bavarian folk dance to a whole new stage – modern, precise, and stylish. Their show takes place in the museum's Oktoberfest Hall and is included in your ticket to the Long Night of Munich Museums.
